“The Great Awakening” Movie Event – 7/19

Join us for two showtimes of “The Great Awakening”, a historical drama film produced by Sight & Sound. Released in theaters back in April 3, 2026, it’s the perfect time to see this movie as we celebrate our nations’ 250th! The film chronicles the true story of the unlikely friendship between the 18th-century evangelical preacher George Whitefield and founding father Benjamin Franklin, depicting how Whitefield’s preaching sparked the First Great Awakening and helped lay the spiritual groundwork for the American Revolution.
We’ll share some light snacks followed by the movie at 5:30pm and a small discussion afterwards.
